Flexibility Important? DUH!!!

Flexibility is just as needed as any other aspect of fitness, nutrition, recovery, and strength training etc..  Though I can get all scientific about it, i'm going to "Kiss" It! (keep it simple stupid) lol!! Simple as this, lack of flexibility causes bad stress on the muscles and the joints, ligaments and tendons. In order for you to get the best Visual and Performance results from TRAINING, IS by HAVING YOUR MUSCLES REACH THEIR FURTHEST LENGTH TENSION RELATIONSHIP!! MEANS (MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY).

Include "FOAM ROLLING" into your daily routine mix.  By some fitness pro's called, (M.R) or (S.M.R) Self-Myofacial-Release Stretching, is the simple process of rolling the Adhesions or Knots out of the muscle tissue. Picture a Rubber band for a moment, ok now stretch it out, ok now tie a knot in it and STRETCH it again, what changed? It got tighter huh? Now tie another knot, and another, and another, GET THE POINT!! Imagine years of tying knots in your RUBBER BANDS A.K.A. (YOUR MUSCLES) Think on that, but REMEMBER THIS VIDEO? LETS GET YOU GUYS BACK TO THE BASICS!!!

SO LEAVE A COMMENT AND ALSO SHARE WITH OTHERS!!!
STAY STRONG
STAY SAFE
STAY FOCUSED!!

  1. David, thanks a bunch for this info, it really helped me stretch at the right time rather than how I was. As a result, since January I've gone from unable to touch my toes to going well past them with ease.

My question is this: my routine is to do cardio, stretch, resistance training, then stretch again. Is this correct? I ask because my wife is getting annoyed with how long workouts take with the double stretching session.
